This 36-inch KitchenAid ventilation hood is ideal over an island cooktop or range. You'll get a powerful motor to handle your most aromatic ingredients with a Whisper Quiet System that operates at levels that allow you to carry on a conversation: just 49 dBA (1.5 sones) at Low Speed, is 65 dBA (5.4 sones) at Maximum Speed. Plus Auto Sense allows the range hood fan to turn on automatically when it senses heat higher than its allowable temperature limit. When Auto Sense is On, the fan speed will increase or decrease based on the temperature Auto Sense is measuring.
- Auto Turn On helps protect your cabinets from damage by automatically turning the vent on when it senses the presence of heat
- Perimeter ventilation increases ventilation system efficiency by pulling air from the edges of the hood and speeding up the movement of air at the center, allowing it to efficiently handle up to a 65000-BTU total output
- Electronic touch control with boost function enhances performance by providing a timed, short burst of high-speed ventilation to effectively filter steam, grease, and odors from the air
- 3-speed settings so you can match the ventilation to the need
- Converts from a traditional set-up to an in-line blower installation for an even more quiet operation. Metal box purchase required
- Dishwasher safe grease filters reduces steam, grease, and odor to help avoid contact with ceilings and countertops
- LED task lights provide extra lighting over the cooking surface to help in the cooking process. Halogen night lights provide soft, accent lighting in the kitchen
- The range hood is factory set for venting through the roof
- Recommended for use with cooktops with a maximum total rating of 60000 BTUs or less
- With sleep mode the range hood automatically enters Sleep Mode when not in use. After 10 minutes of no range hood activity, all of the control button lights will turn off
- Limited 1-year warranty
- Auto speed setting takes the guesswork out of protecting cabinets from steam, grease, and moisture by automatically adjusting fan speed to ventilation needs depending on the heat being produced
